I would suggest you purchase an atlas before stepping on the plane/boat/train from wherever you are and learning just a little about the country(ies) you are planning to visit.Taking a trip to the UK for several months - any advice?
Definitely visit Oxford if you have a free day. Its a short bus ride out there, and there is a lot to see. All of the colleges, the great town, the countryside.
