Any advice when using international movers when moving from the USA to the UK?

Are these moves riddled with hidden costs not included in estimates? ect. ect.Any advice when using international movers when moving from the USA to the UK?

I'd make sure they are bonded and have enough insurance to cover the value of your belongings...and get it in writing...ask them for a certificate of insurance.
make sure they have insurance. we moved from Canada to turkey and we just used a fright to move every thing and then hired some movers over here to bring it to our new house. the cost in total was $3000. can dollars good luck
