You could try leafleting an area with a brochure or simple





A4 with details of your work etc.





Have and email address and make sure any telephone number given


is always answered.





You could back this up with adverts in shop windows and or attaching laminated ads to lampposts or other noticable sites.





Best to concentrat on the one area for a bit and see what happens.

You can post multiple ads on both so





make use of this to target various jobs.





Always have cards to hand out to people and if you are not using a printer fro custom busininess stationary at least make up - estimate sheet - billing and other showing all your details - this is what people keep and refer to when the nieghbour asks about that work.





Alot depends on what time you have to promote


the business you could identify property for sale and ask the owners if they could pass on a brochure to those viewing - if they want to sell


possible owners having ready access to a company to carry out work is good.





Can you approach letting agents -
