Go on business/trade forums and their are some free ways to advertise
Are you in touch with your local Business Link. They run free courses on marketing your business. They also offer a free business review for established businesses, which looks at how you want to expand and gives you ideas for doing so.

Have you identified who your target markets are? The more specific you can be the more easily you'll reach them. For example, we used to provide a product for interior designers. We looked at the lists of interior designers on the internet, researched till we found named people and then contacted them.

Advertising, apart from its cost, is only effective when it's done in a very targeted way. Otherwise, you might hit a few people that you want to but the rest are not interested.

Use business networking to help contact the right people. Both on-line and off-line works. Build relationships with your fellow networkers and ask them who they know in your target markets. It takes time to build up these relationships but once your fellow networkers know and trust you they'll be happy to recommend you. Business Link runs networking events, some of which are free.

Good luck!
