UK -Anyone had dealings with Homeowners Advice Centre in relation to sell and buy back?

I contact them in September last year and after reading lots of material that they supplied, which tries to show all the various pitfalls you could encounter with a sale and rentback, they proved to be very patient and explained everything in the minutest detail.

They also provided other sources of information about reports regarding the whole buy and rentback sector.

I proceeded with the sale through them, and am glad that I did.

One word of warning though if you are in a hurry and need the equity released almost immediatley then I don't think they will be able to help, for the simple reason of the process's that they have to go through, all of which take time.

I think a fair estimate is approx 3 weeks from a valuer inspecting your house to the sale being completed.

If you are in a rush then, they also have dealings with another firm who may be able to help you. But tell them what you need and they will do their best to help and give honest answers.UK -Anyone had dealings with Homeowners Advice Centre in relation to sell and buy back?
Hi We used their services and found the information they gave us was impartial and very helpful. The support, both via email and telephone was second to none. They helped us work through our situation and find the light at the end of a very bleak looking tunnel.UK -Anyone had dealings with Homeowners Advice Centre in relation to sell and buy back?
I contacted them a while ago and found them to be very supportive and understanding. Their website gives some very useful advice especially at a very stressful time. They are very easy to talk to and offer very sound advice.
